Electromechanical Technician

Responsibilities
· Support new equipment build efforts
· Help plan and wire electrical portion of new equipment
· Assemble and troubleshoot mechanical aspects of new equipment
· Assist with installation of new equipment
· Help update existing equipment and fixtures to improve quality, functionality and safety
· Help fabricate basic fixtures and brackets for new and existing equipment
· Troubleshoot and repair existing equipment
Requirements / Qualifications
· An associate degree in electro-mechanics or related technical discipline with vocational/technical training, or equivalent experience
· Experience in reading mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams
· Experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
· Ability to learn and understand electro-mechanical systems and robots
· Proficient in the use of small manual and power tools
· Working knowledge of computers including Windows and Microsoft applications
· Excellent verbal communication and team skills
· Experience assembling/installing industrial equipment
