Warehouse Supervisor

We are looking for a driven Warehouse Supervisor to help facilitate one of our logistics facilities as we expand capability.
- Leads, guides, and trains employees performing warehouse related work
- Maintains warehouse standards of zone, cleanliness and employee performance
- Effectively uses organization systems and warehouse technology to locate stock, gather stock, relocate stock and move material to keep our systems accurate and up-to-date at all times.
- Update inventory system, prepare and monitor routine reports.
- Ensure production cells are promptly and timely replenish to eliminate down time.
- Assist with the development, revision and enforcement of inventory management and procedures including record keeping, work instructions, ISO procedures, and other standard operational and work practices as necessary.
- Model, understand, adhere and enforce company safety guidelines
- Understand, model and practice company core values
- Oversee proper use of forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and other warehouse equipment.
- Work to achieve appropriate staffing levels accordingly. Ensure that work is balanced so that the team is able to process daily workload and service all production lines in a timely manner.
- Provide daily/weekly reports on productivity, KPIs, staffing, and inventory trends.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate or advanced degree a plus
- 2-3 years of experience performing shipping/receiving, stock control, inventory and recordkeeping functions
- Cycle count experience a plus
- Warehouse optimization experience
- Demonstrated record of leading team(s) directly
- Demonstrated understanding of MRP/ERP planning concepts
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems; JDE preferred
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to effectively communicate with leadership, multiple departments and direct reports
- Strong interpersonal, teambuilding and influencing skills
- Knowledge of laws, policies and procedures concerning commercial shipping methods, freight lines, UPS and other delivery services
- Ability to maintain quality and safety standards
- Ability to receive, track, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipment
- Knowledge of light equipment operation and/or maintenance
- Ability to lead and train staff
- Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork
- Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects
- Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel
- Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods
