We are looking for a hard-working and driven Production Planner to join our growing manufacturing team.
Responsibilities 
  • Collaborates with manufacturing and sales to develop a schedule to best serve customer needs.
  • Generate manufacturing work orders using JD Edwards E1 platform to drive material and production scheduling. 
  • Integrates sales orders with the Master Schedule; coordinates the availability of materials, supplies, equipment, and staff as needed to meet delivery dates.
  • Notifies warehouse team of open orders and past due for completion within the scheduling system.
  • Revises as needed and alerts appropriate staff of schedule changes and delays.
  • Updates appropriate staff of any ability to move items up in the schedule as material availability and capacity changes. 
  • Provide a 3-month outlook for demand.
  • Create a forecast to provide PTSL Risk to the business.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop strategic planning to optimize capacity and mitigate risk in the schedule.
  • Ability to be flexible and make changes necessary to accommodate the business needs.
  • Provide support to multiple departments; Materials , Supply Chain, Production, Engineering, and Quality
  • Ability to take on other tasks as needed.


Requirements 
  • 3+ years of Manufacturing Planning Experience or Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering)
  • Experience with JD Edwards E1 preferred.
  • Lean Manufacturing Experience
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Utilize the resources provided by the company (JD Edwards, Schedule Manager, and Agile)
  • Licenses or certifications preferred: APICS, CPIM, or other manufacturing planning/materials related certifications
