High caliber Engineering students are invited to apply for a 10-week summer internship at our San Antonio, Texas, location. A semester long experience can be considered. Ideal students will be enthused about or experienced in the theory, fundamentals, and tuning of internal combustion engines.

Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of technical tasks surrounding validation and calibration of IC engines
Provide engineering analysis of combustion and ECM controls for performance and/or emissions to engineers and project team members
Utilize dynamometer & emissions measurement equipment
Install, troubleshoot and inspect mechanical and electrical components
Exercise professional discretion in judgment, customer service, and time management
Maintain confidentiality, work independently, and perform other duties as required
Must be able to maintain a full-time work schedule during the internship timeframe

Requirements:

Currently working towards a BS or MS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline

Previous calibration, diagnostics, & engine controls experience preferred

Hands-on electrical and mechanical abilities preferred
